We are especially proud of our global collaboration with the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. Together we will explore how to fundamentally improve the way that students learn English.

Global Innovation Projects-EF-Cambridge English Level Test (EFCELT)

An important part of our collaboration is the creation of the EF Cambridge English Level Test (EFCELT). This test is designed to show students at the end of their course, how their English compares to internationally recognized levels. EF will also encourage all of their teachers to gain Cambridge ESOL professional qualifications for language teachers. 

Scientific Linguistics Research 

In addition to these global initiatives, EF is working with the University of Cambridge’s Research Centre for English and Applied Linguistics to establish a research unit dedicated to exploring and improving the language learning experience for our students.
