Before the course starts, it is essential for students to take a "pre-school English assessment", to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in their English. Based on their strengths and weaknesses, our consultants will schedule a timetable and learning steps in order for students to achieve learning goals efficiently and in a systematic way.

Try

Traditional English courses often provide one-way teaching without sufficient practice and therefore slowing the learning progress. In SmartClass™, students have an opportunity to apply what they have learned by interacting with our native English speaking tutors, focusing on students’ needs and weaknesses, in order to understand skills in English communication.

Group English Conversation Class

Englishtown Service Centres provide face-to-face group English classes on a daily basis. Through interactive small groups of 6, students get more opportunities to speak English, which will allow our teachers to focus on improving their areas of weakness and helping them to move to the next level.

Online English Virtual Class (EVC)

The conversation courses are led by 31,000 teachers, open 24 hours a day. Students are free to schedule their own classes anytime by logging onto the ¡¥Online, real-time interactive conversation class¡¦. They can then enjoy the class with students from around the world. This not only helps to improve their English, but also lets them discover different cultures, thus broadening their horizon.

If students wish to push forward and focus on their individual needs, they can have private tutorials with various conversation topics and workshops. This will build a strong foundation for their English and will allow them to move ahead.

Private Teacher English Class

Through private teacher English classes, students can pick any teacher for a one-to-one class. They can select their own topics, depending on their needs, such as mock job interviews, improvement in pronunciation and intensive grammar exercises. Students can also choose tutors with either native British or American accents, according to their career needs.

Writing Course

Additionally, each unit includes a written element that covers practical and business topics, helping students to comprehensively improve daily communication, such as the ability to reply to and create business emails. Teachers will review students¡¦ essays within 48 hours to help them correct their English language problems more efficiently.

Workshop

A workshop class is made up of 15 students of varying levels. Through group discussions and activities of real-life situations, students can, gradually build their confidence in spoken English. Englishtown Service Centres provide various types of workshops every day to cater for different student needs.

Pronunciation Lab - Allows students to practise basic English pronunciation, to help solve frequently mispronounced words and tones in English.
Vocabulary Lab - Focuses on commonly used vocabulary, idioms and phrases.
Grammar Lab - Focuses on basic English sentence structure and grammar rules.
Business Lab - Through case studies and role plays, this tackles a range of interview subjects and workplace situations.
Professional Theme Workshop - Focuses on practical business terms to improve confidence in conducting presentations.
Cultural Workshop - Language and culture are inseparable - in order to move to the next level, it is important to understand differences in culture worldwide. Cultural workshops help further deepen students¡¦ understanding of English.
