TOEIC and TOEFL Examination Preparation Course
Englishtown also designed the TOEIC® and TOEFL® examination preparation courses. These mainly focus on listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. There are 28 courses and mock examinations with thousands of questions to familiarise students with the examination styles in order to provide the best chance of success.
TOEIC
The Test of English for International Communication is mainly an assessment of the candidate’s vocational English standard. The test content is based, for the most part, on daily English usage that reflects the standard within the working environment. Thus, TOEIC?is widely recognised by global corporations as a criterion to assess employees?abilities.
TOEIC® Examination Format
The TOEIC® examination is made of 2 parts, which are listening and reading. Both are in the form of multiple choice questions. The time allowed is two and a half hours. There is no definite pass mark in the TOEIC® examination. Rather, individual corporation set their own requirements regarding test results.
